About seven years ago, Hillside Baptist Church which started in 1959 became Grace Baptist Church. Pastor Kent Sager and his wife Becky were active in the ministry serving in the greater Queens NY area when they were called to the Franklin Square area.

Grace Baptist Church preaches the Old Time Gospel. We teach love by giving people the Bible truth and actively engage in the Great Commission, spreading the Gospel to our family, love ones and neighbors. We sing moving Gospel Hymns and provide special music to honor the Lord Jesus Christ. We use the King James version of the Bible as we believe it is the most accurate translation of the Bible.  

Our church family is of all backgrounds but is of one love, that in the service of the Father.

The church has three worship services, 9:00am, 11:30am and 1:30pm. Each service lasts one hour. Communion is held on the first Sunday each month and is rotated between the three service times. Weekly prayer service is 7:30pm and lasts one hour. Other events and services take place as announced.

Church members participate in Soul Winning every week by handing out Gospel tracts. Our regular days are Thursday and Saturday. We either go door to door in the local community, the local bus depot or hand out tracts during special events in the Metropolitan area.
